Conclusion; Goodbye Everyone!
Final Week Reflection
As I wrap up my time working on the KnoxFog™ project, I want to sincerely thank those who made this experience so impactful.
To Professor Herbots – thank you for your unwavering guidance and for believing in the potential of undergraduate research. Your dedication to scientific truth and mentorship has inspired me to approach every challenge with both curiosity and resilience. I’ve learned so much under your leadership – not just about hydrophilic coatings and anti-fog technology, but about what it means to pursue research with purpose and actaully learn.
To my on-site advisor, Dr. Schaffer – thank you for your hands-on support and daily encouragement. I appreciate how you worked alongside me to give great feedback and let me have alot of control over thr project. I appreicate you unwavering support
Thank you so Ms. Bennett and Ms. Rothschild for the support in organization for the project. I really appreciate how much time you guys set aside for us to make sure we all take this process step by step.
Finally, thank you to Mrs. Slayton for this opportunity alongside the rest of basised. Opportunitieslike this are what make future scientists and engineers and give us the passion to continue our intellectual growth!
This project not only sharpened my lab skills and deepened my understanding of surface engineering – it also affirmed my passion for creating technology that directly improves lives. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to keep building on this foundation. I cant wait to contnue this research in the future!
