Week 6: .MP4, .PDF, .SLDPRT

Hello!
I’ve recorded my video and may play some of it during my presentation. It is about 15 minutes, and I may edit it more if given feedback. My favorite part of the video is my use of FreeCAD, the software I used to make my models, in demonstrating the 3D components.
I’ve also been taking on some more responsibilities at my internship. For example, I used LaTeX through Overleaf to type out a .pdf detailing how anyone can go from zero to hero in 3D modeling and 3D printing. This may be shared among other staff interested in learning 3D printing.
I’m still spending many hours practicing SOLIDWORKS. Rather than just passively watch examples being built, I try to recreate them myself based off the schematics the teacher shows; while sometimes this is difficult or even impossible, the extra time is well worth it as I feel fully comfortable in what I have learned so far. I should be finished with the course content very soon. I am looking forward to taking the Certified Solidworks Associate Exam, though I am a little nervous as I don’t fully know what to expect.
