Final Approach

Thomas C -

Hey there everyone, welcome to another blog!

This week, my work drastically changed as I went from designing the mechanism to writing a paper about my design process, its advantages, shortcomings, and suggestions for improvement. Doing this was almost like traveling back in time as I had to explain the theory behind my design and justify its requirements. Because this paper will naturally have a lot of equations, I figured that I would make it with Overleaf, a free online LaTeX editor.

I know this was a short blog, but other than writing the paper, nothing new really happened.

As always, the airplane of the week is the North American XF-108 Rapier, have fun reading about it below!

Until next time,

-Thomas

Hey Thomas, It's cool that your project is slowly wrapping up! I know we had fun using Overleaf in Diff Eq, so I'm excited to hear about your paper. Will this be your final product, or is the mechanism design going to take precedence?
