Week 11: Conclusion

Amita B -

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for following along with my blog. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read it. Grief is such an important topic, one that isn’t talked about nearly enough. By reading my blog, you’ve taken a step toward changing that narrative and helping create a more compassionate and comfortable space for others.

I want to take a moment to thank a few people who made this project possible:

First, thank you to Dr. Goodwin. Without his guidance and edits, this project wouldn’t have come together for both my senior research project and my AP Research project.

A big thank you as well to Ms. Bennett for her consistent support in keeping all of the senior research blogs running and engaging. I appreciate the time, effort, and encouragement you gave to all of us.

And lastly, thank you to Melody Logan. Without her help and willingness to let me conduct my internship at Billy’s Place, my research would not have been possible. I’m incredibly grateful to the kind and supportive staff at Billy’s Place, too!

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from my project, it’s this: grief is a universal experience. It’s not something to shy away from. We should be able to talk about it freely and openly. When we do, we create space for understanding, empathy, and healing.

Thank you again for reading, and thank you to everyone who joined me and followed along!

With gratitude,
Amita Bandlora
