Animations and Rigging

Hello Everyone! This week I am still working on my animations. I would say that I am struggling with them because of some issues with creating the weight factor. To explain this further, the weight factor is what makes the bones have a more realistic effect. To wrap it up, it makes the avatar move like a real person. My workflow was to use weight brushes to color where I wanted the weights to be, but that is not working because my brush isn’t working. As of now, I decided to try to find some other software instead of Unity that may help me with this overall animation. I would say that making the animations and making sure they are not sloppy is my biggest struggle yet. Animations also take more time since the moves I want my character to do are very specific and if not done right, it will not make sense in the game.

However, on a more positive note, I have finished building level one’s buttons and options which has only left me to figure out the animations. This week, I am trying to finish up making the buttons and options for my ten levels so that the only last thing for me to do is finish up the animations.
