Alright guys! Welcome back to another week of this incredible research journey. After around 7 trials of the 1 week time span, I have decided to conclude my data collection process and start going into the data analysis process. This is due to a multitude of reasons. It has been about 2 months since I started collecting data, so it feels like a good time to stop. I also have collected more than enough data and I am sitting at over 28 data points to examine. Finally, the prediction model did not seem to be improving over the last few weeks, for either the artificial intelligence or the human prediction algorithm. The fact that I had collected enough data combined with the fact that neither prediction method was becoming more accurate over time convinced me that collecting more data would simply be extraneous. Therefore, I have decided to start analyzing my data. The first thing I’ll do is collect all my data and graph it out over time. I want to see how the t-statistics, which is essentially a measurement of how accurate either prediction is, for both the artificial intelligence algorithm and the human prediction algorithm compare to each other as the weeks progress. After I have accomplished this, I will start drawing conclusions from these statistics and graphs, in order to answer my research question that was established at the beginning. The research process is really going to start getting fun now, and we’re really getting in the thick of it. So, make sure to stay tuned for my upcoming posts. See you all next week!
