Week 9: You’re a villain all right but not a super one.

What’s the difference?

PREEEESEEENTATIONNNNN!!!

Anyways I started working on my project presentations. It was a lot easier than I imagined. Powerpoint apparently has design features which are very helpful and it will just generate like little icons and individualize slides to how many PowerPoints or the topic without using any external images. This definitely is helpful as that is the part of PowerPoints I struggle with.   So I have both presentations mostly done but I’m still not quite sure what the difference between them is supposed to be. I should probably figure that out.

I finished up my internship. Monday was my last day with them and so I asked about a few of the cases i saw that I didn’t see the conclusion of. For example there was a litter of puppies with ringworm and a sheep that had a high risk of not making it. But the sheep did survive and the owner of the puppies are not responding to calls.

One thing I have not touched much on is how difficult owners are. Most of veterinary medicine is people-skills. Whether it’s being unpleasant or not following instructions (causing further difficulties), veterinary medicine has as much time spent dealing with people as normal medicine does. The only difference between a pediatrician and a vet is that a pediatrician is slightly less likely to get bit. You still have to deal with annoying and ridiculous parents and a patient that does not communicate with you well.

Another thing that happened on this last day is a snake came in. Given that I haven’t shown any images yet I will be showing one of the snake mostly because I want to tell josh I have as many snakes in my blogs as he does. Snakes are his whole thing.

That’s all for this week we are getting near the end hopefully next weeks will be short unless something goes wrong
