Practice, Rehearsal, and a trip to texas not related to my project.

So now I have my paper done and turned in, so I believe that’s cause to celebrate. But I also don’t have time to celebrate as I have to finish up my presentations and practice practice practice. I did both of my practice presentations in school already, so now I just need to implement the changes and advice I received and rehearse the presentation until it’s memorized so I don’t look stupid in front of an audience.
Some of the advice I got was pretty easy, like adding pictures, but I never took pictures during my internships, so we will be using Google images (and citing them properly). I also had some formatting issues in my slides that have been fixed already. I also had some issues with what I said while presenting, just not matching up with the slides, but that is something that is fixed with rehearsal.
In other news, given that I have one week to do everything and am very stressed, my family decided it’s the perfect time to have me go to texas to visit my sister. This is completely irrelevant to my project but the timing is kind of awful. Like yes I miss my sister, and she’s the one who owned most of our animals, but the week before our presentations?!?!?! Anyways, so I’ll try to enjoy the break instead of stressing about things I can’t work on anyway.
This was a very short blog post this week, but that’s because we are almost done. This is the last post before the conclusion, and next week I’ll be presenting everything so there isn’t much that’s new, honestly. My internship is over my research is done now, all I have to do is figure out how public speaking works.
I’ll see you all next week (in person this time) for my presentation
