Conclusion

Samantha g -

These past few months have been the most chaotic and fun moments I have ever had. I got to experience a lot of new things and make many memories with the people around me. One of the most notable is when I would find Ms. Cohen at the end of her last class of the day and show her my progress pictures, her reactions were always amazing and the highlight of my day (sorry Ms. Cohen).

Thank you so much to my internal advisor Ms. Joiner for helping throughout this process and being so supportive with my crazy ideas. Especially when I kept adding parts to my initial sketch and getting way over my head with what I could do in the time frame I had.

Thank you to my external advisor Cody for teaching me all I could ever hope to learn about phobias, it was truly a fun experience to talk with him about phobias.

Thank you Ms. Cohen for being my number 1 cheerleader in this process and for being so supportive whenever I showed you progress pictures (sorry again).

Thank you to my friends and family who helped me not go mentally insane through out the building process. Special thanks to Catie who brought me coffee in those long hours of sculpting, I don’t know what I would’ve done without you (probably perish on my garage floor).

I’ve never made something this big before so it was a wonderful opportunity that I was able to make Anthony and Derek. And it was so fun to learn more about phobias and monsters! As in my last post I didn’t show any pictures of the final product because I wanted to save the reveal for my presentation, but since I finished that I will show the final product here in case someone didn’t get to see it.

Thanks for following along and I hope to make even more disgusting things in the future.

This is super impressive, I can just see the hours upon days of work you put into this (as well as blood, sweat, and tears). I am glad you didn't end up perishing on your garage floor.

This is so impressive. The most time-intensive senior project I have ever heard of at BASIS.
