Week 10, Project Complete

Alec B -

And just like that… Week 10 is here, and Road to Progress officially comes to a close.

What started as an experiment in fitness, nutrition, and personal discipline turned into something much bigger than just bulking strategies or gym gains. This project has given me insight into how our choices, what we eat, how we train, how we take care of ourselves; can affect not just physical appearance, but how we feel and function day to day.

These last few days have been focused on wrapping everything up: organizing blood work results, logging final strength numbers, and putting together my final presentation and product. I’m proud of how thorough and consistent I’ve been over the past 10 weeks. From tracking meals and workouts to , analyzing blood markers, and reflecting honestly each week.

The Final Results

Clean bulking, delivered better performance, clearer focus, and overall healthier outcomes. Here’s a quick overview of some key final metrics from my blood panel (which I’ll go into more detail in the final product):

  • LDL (bad cholesterol): 89 mg/dL
  • Total cholesterol: 170 mg/dL
  • Triglycerides: 105 mg/dL
  • Fasting blood glucose: 91 mg/dL
  • CRP (inflammation marker): 0.7 mg/L

These are all within the healthy range for a person my age, and they stand in contrast to my numbers during the dirty bulk phase. The cleaner eating really made a noticeable difference internally

What’s Next?

Even though the project is ending, the habits I’ve built aren’t. I plan to keep tracking my nutrition, optimizing my workouts, and continuing to experiment with different phases, maybe a lean cut next. I also want to use what I’ve learned to help others navigate their own fitness journeys, especially beginners who don’t know where to start.

This blog and my final guide were created with that goal in mind: to document a real, honest transformation and provide a roadmap that others can follow, or learn from. Whether someone’s goal is to bulk up, slim down, or just feel better, the tools and lessons are all here.
