Designed to challenge

The program at BASIS Prescott provides a revolutionary, comprehensive Liberal Arts curriculum.

Our course of study is designed to challenge and inspire students to become scientists, artists, writers, mathematicians, linguists, computer scientists, engineers, and more. Even in the early grades, the BASIS Charter School Curriculum is structured to help students establish a deep foundation of disciplinary knowledge that fuels critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity.

In every grade, teachers focus on the development of two fundamental competencies: the organization of complex tasks and the productive management of students’ limited time. Our great teachers ignite students’ desire to surmount challenges; master complex tasks and concepts; establish habits of disciplined, critical enquiry; and develop a passion for lifelong learning.

BASIS Prescott offers the type of education students receive in top-performing school systems around the world – the type of education American students need to fully participate and lead in the global economy. The accelerated curriculum is rigorous yet complemented by the support from our knowledgeable and caring faculty.
