Week 11- Conclusion
Anagha N -
Hi everyone!
Welcome back! My research journey has come to an end and I want to thank all of you for reading and commenting on my posts.
Through this journey, I learned a lot for this project and also for my field of interest. I am grateful to the vet and vet techs at the clinic who have taught me so much. I got to see surgeries, help take vitals, and learn basic animal anatomy. Their support during this process allowed me to survey clients and clarify my own understanding of pet vaccinations.
I would also like to thank Dr. Goodwin and Mrs. Bennett for their support and feedback during this process which helped me in writing my paper and editing my presentation.
Project Results:
The result of my work these past couple of weeks is this pamphlet. It was difficult to make because I wanted the content to be simplified and concise. The reading level was also a struggle. I had to make sure everything was defined and explained so the pamphlet would be at an accessible level. After adjusting the language, the reading level is a little over the sixth grade reading level which makes the cut. I have attached the pamphlet to the end of this post. I hope that many people will find the resource to be helpful.
I also created a paper which will be on display alongside the pamphlet on the day of the presentation. While the sample size for this project was limited to the clinic, my paper can serve as a template for future research. The rubric that I made can help others assess their resources or create their own.
Consequently, I hope my pamphlet can help people now and that my presentation can help people in the future when they are creating they own resources.
Once again, thank you all so much for following along on this journey!
