Week 10- Kick it!
Anita M -
Hey guys!
The title of this blog is a little homage to track and field. On the final stretch of a race, you’re supposed to “kick it,” meaning use every ounce of energy you have left to cross the finish line. Needless to say, that’s a little how this week has felt.
I spent a significant amount of time editing, creating, and revising graphics for my presentation. There were a couple of instances where I had to get creative because certain graphic tools were not at my disposal. For example, the program I’m using for my presentation does not have an arrow with multiple bends, and I needed one for a diagram I was creating. So, after a series of screenshots, color matching, and moving my cursor a million times to get the edges to line up, I was able to make the kind of arrow I needed! You can see it (along with my other diagrams) in my presentation next Friday, so stop on by!
I’ve also been pretty busy practicing my presentation because I will be presenting it to my lab this Friday. I’m a bit nervous, but I know I’ll get some good insight and ways to improve, so I’m looking forward to it!
The rest of this week, I will add the finishing touches to my project and all its items to prep for the finale!
Thank you so much for reading and I hope to see you at the finish line next week!
