SRP update #9
This week was just wrapping up the research. We did a 2day western blot. The use of this western blot is to determine how much of the protein in our sample was ANP (our protein of interest) by filtering the proteins based on size. Of course, different proteins are different sizes and we can filter those proteins via electrophoresis in the western blot. After this was all done, we simply imaged the samples and next week I will look into actually analyzing the data and forming a conclusion.
There isn’t much else to report on besides my 2 day western blot. I have started to work on my final product which will be a trifold poster board. Other than that, I have started setting up my power point presentation for my presentation later this month. Thank you all so much for reading these blog posts, and I look forward to presenting.
