Immunotherapy…To the Stage!
Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog. I would like to take this moment to really thank everyone for keeping up with my blog posts, the ups and downs of this project, and everything in between. As my concluding blog post, I would like to give some advice for those who are interested in doing this in their own senior year.
- Please have a general topic picked out at the start of the year. We first began discussing senior projects in October, but even though I had my topic picked out, finding a site-placement was the most time-consuming and pain-staking part of this process.
- Start reaching out! The college counselors and even some university professors are really interested in you topic. If you are really passionate about your topic, then I think you can consider continuing your research throughout undergrad. Additionally, if you are struggling with communications or otherwise, talk to Mrs. Rothschild, Mrs. Bennett, or Mrs. Anderson (if you are in AP research); I can guarantee that they will be able to smooth things out.
- Take it slow. It’s a long process, but take the time to enjoy it!
With that, thank you everyone for keeping up with my posts! Please come watch my presentation on May 9th from 10:25-10:50 in the auditorium.
Additionally, I’d like to give my biggest regards for my faculty advisor Mr. Truong, my off-site mentor Dr. Sharma, Mrs. Bennett, and Mrs. Rothschild for all their help and support.
I wish all my readers the best and thank you everyone for all your support!
Signing off,
Shreeya Desai 🙂
