Concluding Post
Jasper L -
My research project is coming to an end. I am conducting my final presentation this week for AP Research. Everything is basically in place. I just need to practice my oral defense and tweak the last bit of my research paper. I went in person for my mock presentation, and the part I am lacking the most is my oral defense questions.
This research project has been a rollercoaster of repetition, procrastination, and satisfaction. It got quite boring most of the time, as I had to do the same process for eight different movies. However, in the end, it felt very fulfilling to have completed the project.
If I can go back in time and change something about my project, it is to recruit other people to watch the movies with me. This way my data will be more accurate. I can collect other people’s opinions of things such as whether or not they feel sympathetic for the killers.
Although sometimes I wish I never took this class, I am grateful for this opportunity. If I had to choose whether or not to take this class again, I would choose to take this class.
I would like to thank Ms. Ainslie for guiding me through my research project, for helping me answer questions I needed answers to, and for making sure I got my work done.
My senior research project presentation is on May 12th at 5:30 PM at Basis Peoria. You are invited to come, listen, and ask any questions. My presentation will be in room 222.
