Project Abstract
In recent years, citizens across the U.S. have had difficulty buying basic necessities that are being affected by rising inflation. Many Americans struggle to maintain a steady income, forcing them to obtain another job. Working a second job is easier said than done since more time and effort is needed to work both jobs. On top of these problems, many people work jobs that they do not enjoy. While the future may look bleak, there are alternative ways to make more money in a more enjoyable way. Passive income and side hustles have been increasing in the past few years, helping many people make side money to use towards their needs. Some of these money making methods have been so efficient for some people that many view it to be too good to be true. With thorough research and investigation into these topics, I will develop an independent study that shows whether passive income and side hustles are viable money making strategies. I will dive into different research studies and sources to see how others accomplished side hustles and passive income strategies. These sources will help show different opinions on these side money subjects. With my research, I hope to help others understand what these strategies are and help people decide whether or not pursuing these activities are a worthwhile goal.
