Designed to challenge

BASIS Flagstaff is dedicated to providing students with a world-class education through the acclaimed BASIS Charter School Curriculum.

Our courses of study are designed to challenge and inspire; to help students achieve their dreams of becoming scientists, artists, writers, mathematicians, linguists, computer scientists, and engineers. Even in the primary grades, the BASIS Charter School Curriculum helps students establish a deep foundation of disciplinary knowledge to fuel critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

In each grade, our teachers focus on helping students develop two fundamental competencies: the organization of complex tasks and the productive management of time. They ignite our students’ desire to surmount challenges; master complex tasks and concepts; establish habits of disciplined, critical enquiry; and develop a passion for lifelong learning.

By utilizing the BASIS Charter School Curriculum, BASIS Flagstaff offers students the type of education that other students receive in top-performing school systems around the world—the type of education American students need to fully participate in and lead a global economy. Our curriculum is rigorous and accelerated, but it is complemented with the full support of our knowledgeable and caring faculty.
